🔄 Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Sensory Mixx, every product is made with care and attention to quality. Because our sensory mixes are food-based and designed for play, we cannot accept returns or exchanges once a product has been opened or removed from its original packaging. This is to ensure the hygiene and safety of all our customers.

🧁 Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return or replacement:

  • The item must be unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

  • You must contact us within 7 working days of receiving your order, as stated under Section 16 of the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).

  • The product must not have been misused, altered, or exposed to moisture.

  • For hygiene reasons, returns of any food-based sensory items that have been opened are strictly prohibited.

Please double-check your items before opening to ensure you have received the correct order.

🔁 Replacement (If Applicable)

If a defect or fault is found, or the item does not match what you ordered, we’ll gladly exchange or replace the product in accordance with applicable law.

  • The customer is responsible for covering the cost of returning the item to our head office in Kempton Park, Johannesburg, South Africa.

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, The Sensory Mixx will cover the shipping cost of the correct replacement product back to you.

Products that have been misused, altered, or damaged due to improper handling may not be eligible for replacement or refund.

💳 Refunds (If Applicable)

If a replacement is not possible, a refund may be issued once the returned product is inspected and approved.
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Please note: we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by courier services or items returned without prior approval.
